View Ungrouped Contacts
Is there a way to view ungrouped contacts, so I can easily isolate and organize them?

Actually there isn't... We would have to make that.

Is it possible to add a filter in the interface "uncategorized contacts"? This way you can easily see what contacts have not been added to a category yet (which can cause problems when filtering is done on certain categories).

This is exactly what I would like to see

I would like to see a "" or "" option in groups to show contacts who have not been assigned a group.

Very good to see that this feature is being implemented. How long will this take ?

It's been "under construction" for 9 months now, so. . . don't hold your breath.

This seems like it shouldn't be too difficult a feature to add. The existing groups are based on tags. They already have the concept of 'smart groups' (e.g. connected friends). All that's needed is a new smart group that excludes contacts with any associated category tags. An alternate solution would be to add a new tag of say 'Unassociated' that is given to all contacts, and auto-removed once any other tag is added to the contact. I thought of doing this myself, but the only option we have for batch actions (i.e. applied to all contacts) is delete.
As a developer, I know a request can often be more complicated than it appears to the user, but it has also been 9 months since the original request.
I'd like to hear from Soocial on why this hasn't been implemented yet... also, is there anything we can do to up the priority? -
-
I wonder how many folks work at Soocial ? My experiences are that they are too slow in implementing features. I wish they add these kind of necessary features asap. the competition at memotoo already has show contacts with no groups, with only groups, not synced, contacts with large images/data, etc.. contacts with no emails/phones, names etc.. and lot more.. I hope soocial gets somewhere close to them

Hadn't heard of MemoToo before, but it looks great. Cheaper too! Is there anything Soocial has that they do not? I may consider switching.

they dont have versions per contacts. and cool UI. But they offer you to download contact backups as you want.

Guys, we can understand the frustration. Let me do a bit of explaining.
In software development things can seem easy to do. That is what we thought when we started to make Soocial. Well we were wrong. It is really hard to do it properly.
Sameer, you have told us yourself that you came back to Soocial because some other services were deleting your contacts or messing them up. There are two options for us. Pump out features and have bad quality syncing or do proper syncing and be slower in making features. We have chosen the latter.
The good news though is that we finally after a few years have the basic syncing backend figured out and we are ready for growth and making features.
As the matter affect we have added quite a few features over the last two or three months.
Also, I must say it does help you guys making noise here. We'll see what we can do for this feature.
Thanks for all your feedback. Even you Sameer :-p-
Thanks Bart. I look forward to seeing new features added soon... :-)

I would like to see an group where I can view all the un-grouped contacts so I can re-categorize them or place them in the right groups.
Currently, the only way to do this, is I created unknown group; put everyone in it, and then manually removed the ones I grouped, and was left with the ungrouped contacts; which took me over two days to complete.
Hope to see this feature soon.
