Increase free account contact limit
Soocial looks very promising. I signed on very early in the development and bugs prevented me from entrusting my contacts to you. However, I recently revisited the service and it looks like you've come a long way. Unfortunately, I can't use it. Here's why:
250 Contact limit is way too small for the free account. My guess is that most adults have more than this in their contact list, which will prevent them from even trying the service. If I can't try, why would I buy? I know that's the case for me.
Sorry, but the free account needs to be around 350 or 400 contacts, maybe even 500. People have tons of contacts in their various systems. Which ones do you recommend we delete so that we can try your service? Give some buffer room for people to get acquainted with the service and decide the can't live without it, need more contacts, need more connections, etc.

Inappropriate?Hey Logan,
the 250 is a soft limit. We allow for up to 1000 contacts to be added to the free account at this point. If your account is from before yesterday then then the limit is 10.000
You can check what account you have on: http://www.soocial.com/settings -
Inappropriate?Hey Bart,
As an "early" user, I like the way Soocial evolved. Now it has lots of cool features and less bugs :-P
I think that Logan's Idea is one you might think of, I my self have more than 1000 contacts and I know there's a lot of people in this situation.
I would suggest that free accounts also have more connections, maybe 5.
To support free service, it might be helpfull to add ads (lika google) and may be to have larger "wait time" for sync and dedupe. Also, backing up contacts should be manually done and stored by users. This way, you can save some money :-)
Just to help
Cheers

Inappropriate?I understand the need to try out the service before buying. But I imagine that there may be a business rational, why a sync service (i.e. Soocial) would not enable full sync of a free account, since part of the value lies in the initial transfer/synchronisation of contacts across several connections.
And honestly, there is no constraints to the contract as I have understood it, so you could pay the 3 € for the first month to try out the service, and cancel it if you do not like it.
I think 3 € is a great price to try out the service for a month. A small price to pay to get your +250/+1000 contacts synchronised across all those connections.
I’m confident
